Common questions

Straight answers before you commit to anything.

How much does solar cost?

A panel only system starts at £4,150 and a large system with maximum battery storage is £14,100. The calculator above shows the exact price for your setup before anyone visits. Prices are fixed at survey, with no hidden extras.

How long does installation take?

Most domestic installations are completed in one to two days on site. Scaffolding usually goes up a day or two beforehand and comes down shortly after.

What does MCS certified mean for me?

MCS is the national standard for solar installation. It means the work is independently audited, and it is what makes your home eligible for the Smart Export Guarantee, where your energy supplier pays you for electricity you send to the grid.

Is my roof suitable?

Most pitched roofs are. South facing is ideal but east and west facing roofs still perform well. The calculator accounts for your roof direction and shading, and the free survey confirms everything before you commit.

Is battery storage worth adding?

It depends on how you use electricity. A battery stores your spare daytime generation for the evening, which suits most working households. The calculator shows your saving with and without battery so you can compare directly.

What happens after installation?

You get your MCS certificate, warranty documents and Smart Export Guarantee paperwork. The panels carry a 25 year product warranty and we are a phone call away in Llanelli if you ever need us.
